As part of my master’s thesis, I focus on the design and research of AI-supported decision support systems in emergency medical triage. I am particularly interested in how AI-generated recommendations can be designed to foster trust, support decision-making, and at the same time preserve the autonomy of medical professionals. I am motivated by the interdisciplinary exchange between medicine, technology, and user experience design to develop practical and human-centered solutions for clinical practice. A central aspect of my work is exploring how explainable and responsibly designed AI systems can strengthen collaboration between humans and technology and contribute to safer and more efficient healthcare in the long term.
