Development and innovation to strengthen the health of people and the planet are urgently needed. In today’s VUCA world, new paths must be found, and new and expanded competencies are required to deal with (highly) emergent situations and to promote planetary as well as human health. This is precisely where the DHD LL provides a platform to co-creatively and interdisciplinarily develop, test, and find solutions for tomorrow. My focus lies in the education of health professionals, particularly with an emphasis on planetary health and interprofessional collaboration.
