In this project we developed a concept for a digital debriefing tool for use after psychiatric coercive measures. The aim was to integrate elements of shared decision making (SDM) into the aftercare process in order to empower patients and promote the therapeutic relationship. The starting point was the research questions of what gaps and challenges exist in the implementation of SDM elements in debriefings after coercive measures and which aspects are particularly relevant for patients and practitioners when deciding on coercive measures. The tool concept was designed in a participatory co-creation process. The result is a low-fidelity prototype with wireframes, a storyboard, and a roadmap for further development.
